We are passionate about Doberman Pinschers!

Pilgrim Doberman Pinscher Club was established in 1973. Some of the original members were: Norman and Lynda Kenney, Arnold and May Jacobson, Nazarene Mondello, and Brad and Ann Dunn. 

 

The club consisted of members who shared a passion for promoting the Doberman breed through specialty shows and community involvement. Over the last 53 years, our club has evolved, grown, and seen changes in leadership, yet we are proud to still have several original members with us today. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Today, our club is stronger than ever. Over the last few years, membership has increased by nearly 40 percent, along with member engagement, events, and participation. We are grateful to be generating excitement not only in the dog show world, but also in the worlds of companionship, performance sports, and responsible breed stewardship.

In addition, our club is committed to supporting Doberman rescue organizations. Since 2023, we have hosted annual raffles to raise funds and provide financial assistance wherever possible. In just three short years, we have proudly donated nearly $4,000.00 to various Doberman rescues, with DRU of New Hampshire being a favorite local organization we are especially proud to support.

We also make it a priority to welcome  new members and encourage those who are interested in learning more about this remarkable breed. Our club remains committed to educating the public about Dobermans through events, educational seminars, breed-specific programs, and other special activities throughout the year.

One of the valuable benefits available to our members is access to a Holter monitor rental program. Because Dobermans are unfortunately at increased risk for dilated cardiomyopathy, or DCM, we want to help our members monitor their dogs’ heart health and identify any changes as early as possible.​​​​
