2007 DPCA National Agility Seminar

 

 

We’re pleased to announce Elicia Calhoun will lead the agility seminar at the 2007 DPCA National in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.  Elicia is a top National and International Trainer, National and World Champion and Author.  A World Champion Team member in 2001 and Bronze Medal Team member in 2003, Elicia represented the United States for an unprecedented five consecutive years with her Aussie,  MACH2 Suni ADCH.  Elicia and Suni won the 16 inch division at the AKC Agility Nationals in 2003 and 2005.

 

Elicia, who has a BS in engineering from Cornell University, owns and operates Waltzing Paws Agility.  She utilizes her analytical engineering skills and positive training techniques in an enthusiastic and effective manner to design and develop a training program pinpointing each team’s needs.  Her seminars are full of fun and excitement.

 

The DPCA seminar will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007.  It will be a full day       (9 am – 4 pm) for intermediate/advanced level teams.  The morning will be geared toward building drive and focus and thinking on your feet to meet the unexpected when running a course.  The afternoon will focus on solving challenges to assist each team evolve to a more effective partnership. The seminar will be limited to 12 working teams but unlimited for auditors.  The cost for a working slot is $125.  An audit slot is $50.

 

To register, please complete and return the entry form and the signed Agreement with a check for $125, or $50 for auditors, made out to PDPC.  The first 12 entries received for working slots will be accepted.  Auditors are unlimited.  Refunds for cancellations will be made if the spot is refilled.   Working slots will be held for Dobermans until September 1, 2007.  At that time unreserved slots will be offered to other breeds.
